Step Accumulation Conveyor - Shaft and Rod Magazine - Walking beam conveyors

A transport system designed for high supply capacity in a very small area. For the transport and accumulation of roller shaft parts.

Step Accumulation ConveyorA step accumulation conveyor is used as an accumulator or magazine for machined or unmachined shafts or rods.

Workpieces are moved in the magazine by means of stop bar horizontal forward motion, one position each time.

Shafts can be taken from the magazine at the last position and moved to the next working process.

Fields of application:
  • Shafts with a uniform diameter, or with sufficiently cylindrical length of a workpiece
  • Workpiece placing even in a limited area
  • Separating module
Workpieces:
  • Steering racks
  • Forked shafts
  • Drive shafts
  • Damper piston rods
Properties:
  • Lifting-step transport with the workpiece aligning and travelling effect
  • S-grün or Solidur-Super toothed bars, wear-resistant and noise dampening
  • Durable electromotive eccentric drive through large ball bearings and chains
Advantages:
  • High storage capacity in a very small area thanks to a small grid
  • •Effective storage system at low purchase cost
